Year Round Program
We accept children ages 6 weeks through age 6 year round. We offer a curriculum rich program! We believe play is the best way to learn! We enrich our play with a Christian curriculum. Our curriculum also follows developmental and academic milestones. We ensure that our students are ready for the next chapter of their lives. Whether that is moving from the infant room to the wobbler room or when they are big kids and get to move to Kindergarten- we ensure all students are ready to tackle on their next big adventure!
Summer Scouts
6 weeks to walking
We have an infant classroom that is ages 0-12 months. We have 2 teachers, both have extra certifications making them infant room supervisors. Our ratio is 1:4 with a maximum of 8 infants in our infant room.
Walking to 2 years old
Once children are walking and more mobile we graduate them to our Wobbler Classroom so they have more room to explore and master their large motor skills. Our ratio for this room is 1:5 with a maximum of 10 wobblers. Ms. Shannon is lead teacher certified with an extra certification in Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler care.
2-3 years old
Our Toddler classroom is ages 24-26 months. We start learning colors, shapes, bible songs and stories! The toddler stage is a busy age! We also begin potty training in this room so they are ready to take on this great big world! Our ratio is 1:6 for our toddlers with 10 toddlers in each room. Teachers in this classroom are lead teacher qualified with an additional certification in Expanding Qualify in Infant and Toddler Care. Our Toddlers also get to participate in our specials classes. They have Music class on Wednesdays and Christian Education on Thursday mornings.
2.5-3.5 years old
Our Little Learners classroom is when students between the ages of 2.5-3 are ready for preschool! Our ratio is 1:8 with a total of 15 kiddos. These kiddos continue to learn potty training as well as get ready ‘school’. In this classroom we focus on academic, social emotional and whole child development. Our Littles Learners also participate in Music class on Wednesdays and Christian Education on Thursday mornings.
3.5-5 years
Preschool Academy: Ages 4-6
Transitional Kindergarten
Our Preschool Academy is our oldest classroom at ECA. This Preschool class is for kiddos who will be entering kindergarten the following year and/or they are close to the kindergarten cut off date of October 1st and parents wish to keep them in Preschool class for an additional year. Our teacher in this classroom has her degree in Elementary Education. Students are learning Kindergarten curriculum and skills while still playing and learning social emotional skills. Our class size is 16 with a teacher/child ratio of 1:10.
Our PreK classroom is our Preschool 2 class. Kiddos in this classroom are getting ready for advanced Preschool concepts. Our teachers have their degree in Early Childhood Education. Our ratio is 1:8 with a total of 16 kiddos. Our students in this classroom utilize our full Christian Curriculum as well as use Preschool State Standards to guide their learning. We keep a smaller ratio than public schools as we strongly believe that a 1:8 ratio is what is best for kiddos this age.
